Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

The possibility to report a bug in all applications via "Help" - "Report Bug" does not work any more. No reaction at all when I use that menu-

Do you get some shell output if you start the application from Konsole ?

I see no shell output if I start e.g. konqueror from Konsole (and click 'Bug Report...')

Kubuntu patched the menu option to use Apport (the bug reporting tool for launchpad) instead of the classic KDE dialog.
This is the patch:

I guess it is not working properly
Anyways, it is a Kubuntu bug. I'm closing the report as DOWNSTREAM
