Description Marcus Harrison 2009-07-12 23:20:18 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.2.96 (KDE 4.2.96 (KDE 4.3 RC2)), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-gentoo-r1

For some reason, in KDE 4.3 RC2, the microblogging plasmoid has suddenly stopped working: when I type in the text box and press, "enter", the tweet isn't submitted to twitter. I'm not certain whether it is the upgrade from 4.3 RC1 that has caused it or something else.
Comment 1 FiNeX 2009-07-12 23:25:24 UTC
Confirmed in trunk (r995253).
Comment 2 Franco Pellegrini 2009-07-13 17:44:27 UTC
Confirming this for me too, updated 4.3 from RC1 to RC2 and microblog plasmoid is not working anymore, not for twitter nor for identi.ca
Comment 3 Kenjiro Tanaka 2009-07-14 19:45:23 UTC
I confirm this on Bluewhite64-12.2. On KDE-4.3.0rc1 the microblogging was working nicely. I upgraded to KDE-4.3.0rc2 and it stopped working.

I made the packages (from source of course) since I am the packager for the distro.
Comment 4 Anne-Marie Mahfouf 2009-07-19 11:47:03 UTC
Confirmed on 4.3 branch revision 997638 from KDE svn.
Comment 5 Kenjiro Tanaka 2009-07-23 05:07:06 UTC
Now I am running kde-4.3.0rc3 and the problem is stil here.
Comment 6 Kenjiro Tanaka 2009-08-03 00:59:04 UTC
OK, problem still present in KDE-4.3.0 (I am a packager). I wish this would be fixed before the official release.
Comment 7 Aaron J. Seigo 2009-08-03 02:32:23 UTC
the fix is in the branch ...

Hello!

Sorry to tell, but this error is still existent here on my debian-amd64/sid. You told, it is fixed. Which version is the latest, so that I can test if thisis a debian problem or still a bug? Which one is the origin bugnumber, where I can follow the history? Seems, some reports are duplicated, as someone told. Shall this bug be reopened?

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Hans
