Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I find that an unacceptably large percentage of my PDF documents cannot be printed from okular because they cause the printer to run out of memory. The same documents print perfectly with acroread (acroread has a "Save Printer Memory" option specifically to minimize memory usage). If I know that I am going to be printing a document, I find it much quicker simply to use acroread and bypass okular altogether, because if I print and the printer runs out of memory, it requires quite major messing around to recover the printer.
Hi, Okular does not create the PS file which is sent to the printer, but Poppler does it. Please report the problem to the Poppler bug tracking system at https://bugs.freedesktop.org, "poppler" product; possibly, specifying more details like an example document showing the issue, memory details of your printer, etc.
