Sometimes it's desirable to add a vignetting effect to a photo (darken the corners).  I'm guessing the existing vignetting tool does something like brightening using a radial mask, to only brighten the corners.  Would it be simple or at least possible to use the same tool (or some of the same code) to do the opposite, darken using the same options?
