I can't reopen it, but bug 179992 is back in KDE 4.2.95.

I cannot reproduce this email in Kubuntu 9.10 alpha.

is it possible that this happens only when there is no new messages in Inbox? Because otherwise it should jump to first unread - at least, it is set jere this way.

It was fixed 2 days ago. The fix will be in 4.3.
