Description John Bexon 2009-07-08 14:26:40 UTC
Version: 0.9.4 (using 3.5.10, Kubuntu (intrepid) 4:3.5.10-0ubuntu6)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-14-generic

When I create a new album or subalbum in Digikam using upper case letters only (e.g. a person's initials, say, WJB) a duplicate album is created too with the same letters in lower case. Imported images appear in both albums. Attempting to delete either album results in both being removed.

John,

In first, use more recent release as :

0.9.6 for KDE3
0.10.0 for KDE4

In second, which file system you use to host image ? FAT32 ?

I am using Ubuntu 8.10 at present and intend to change my Linux
distribution to the latest Mandriva soon. I believe that Mandriva runs
0.10.0 for KDE4.

My file system is Ext3.

On checking Digikam 0.10.0 with Mandriva on my wife's computer I find that there is no such problem there.
