There currently exists the following item:

[Tools Menu] > [Rebuild All Thumbnails]

I would humbly suggest another one, [Generate all ungenerated thumbnails].

Use case: You have a few folders with hundreds of pictures (e.g. vacation pictures), and you don't want to spend an hour babysitting the application for an hour by doing:

- scroll down
- wait 1min for 50 thumbnails to generate
- scroll down
- wait 1min for 50 thumbnails to generate
- ...

Yes, one could select [Rebuild All Thumbnails], but this might take an entire day of severely wasted processing speed and disk thrashing for large collections.
