Digikam can't write to my RAW files but it writes the description to the Digikam database instead. When I run the RAW export then the description from Digikam is not set correctly in the resulting JPEG. Let me know if I can do any more to help with this or work on a patch (with a little direction). Thanks!
Which way you use to export RAW to JPEG : digiKam image editor, or RAW converter kipi-plugins ? Note : please, post contents of Help/Components Info dialog... Gilles Caulier

Apologies for the delay, it was the kipi-plugins export. I'm not actually using Digikam much any more and on my Mac so can't give version information at the moment, sorry.
I remeber to have fixed this problem in the past with current implementation of digiKam kipi interface (1.0.0) I will check it Gilles
