Version: (using KDE 4.2.90) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When you unlock the panel you can drag it to one of the four screen edges. The german translation leads the user to believe it can only be dragged to the corners of the screen (just watched a discussion in a kubuntu forum where users were not able to place the panel at the left, right or top side because they didn't know that "Bildschirm-Ecke" should mean screen edge: they added panels until one appeared where they wanted to have it and then removed the others). In short: screen edge should be translated with "Bildschirm-Kante" not "Bildschirm-Ecke" to not unnecessarily confuse the user.
We have "Bildschirmecke", not "Bildschirm-Ecke". If you have "Bildschirm-Ecke", then your translation might come from Kubuntu's Rosetta tool. If so, do not be surprised if you still have the wrong translation after we fixed it. Please add links to discussions you mention next time. Anyway, thanks for the report. :)

Thanks. And I'll keep your hint in mind. When I use Kubuntu should I better report translation issues to Kubuntu team?
> When I use Kubuntu should I better report translation issues to Kubuntu team? Hard to tell. If they are active enough, you can report it there. If they do not have enough manpower and it takes weeks or months for them to handle the reports and bring them to us in case, it is better to report them here first.
