Description Michael Pfuetz 2009-07-07 11:24:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

On importing avi video files the date and modification date swapped.
There is no preview image, although in the import-window preview images are displayed.

Thanks

Michael

The avi import is from canon ixus 40
Comment 2 caulier.gilles 2009-07-07 11:38:03 UTC
About preview with Canon, PTP gphoto2 driver do not support it. Use CF card reader instead + current code from svn (1.0.0-beta2)

For the rest, there is already an entry in bugzilla.

Comment 4 Michael Pfuetz 2009-07-09 10:07:20 UTC
Installing mplayerthumbs for KDE4 is an solution for the preview
Comment 5 caulier.gilles 2018-03-14 05:20:58 UTC
Fixed with next 6.0.0 release which integrate a new video metadata parser based
on FFMPEg instead Exiv2. Video date extraction work as expected and video file
rename is completed properly.
