Version: (using KDE 4.2.90) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Use keys only. The list: ============ 1 # 2 3 4 5 ============= 6 7 8 9 This means entries 1-5 are visible, 6-9 are currently out of visible area. # denotes active message. Now, you press right arrow key. It should go to 2 without any change because the list is long (in practice it has 40 items). But akregator scrolls down immediately. 1 ============ 2 # 3 4 5 6 ============= 7 8 9 Now if I press right key several times, the selection changes but there is no scroll (correct!) until I get close to the bottom of the list (correct also).
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
