Version: KDE 4.3 RC (using KDE 4.2.90) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I don't use the corner cashew but dragged it to one side of the desktop. Alas this leads to ghost entries on the desktop. When I log in sometimes there is a menu entry over the cashew on the first activity (plasma desktop, cashew on lower right side of desktop). And there is always a menu entry visible below the cashew on the second activity (folder view, cashew centered on left side of screen). When I unlock the widgets on first activity a plus sign flashes for a short moment above the cashew and on activity 2 appears the menu entry "Remove this Desktop". When I lock the widgets again this visible menu entry changes to "Unlock widgets". And when I unlock them again I have two entries overlapping each other: Remove this Desktop + Add Widgets... This "ghost entry" is at the same position, left side of screen, on activity 2 even when the cashew for this activity sits on the right side, so I assume it's something from the cashew of the first activity that reaches into activity 2.
Created attachment 35064 [details] Screenshot of weird cashew menu Sometimes the overlapping menu entries are "Remove this Desktop" + "Add Widgets..." and sometimes "Remove this Desktop" + "Folder View Settings".
This is due to a long-standing Qt bug that is fixed in the latest Qt snapshots. So, it will work as expected when the new Qt versions come out. Marking as RESOLVED -> UPSTREAM
Thanks for the information.

Now those ghost entries also appear on the dashboard. Do you know in which Qt version this will be solved?
