I have a small issue with plasma dashboard viewer. See attachment for more.
I think he didn't refresh the view if I moved a widget before?

are you using the "separate dashboard" feature?
Comment 3 sts 2009-07-05 11:04:47 UTC
now I don't use it.

crazy thing.. today I start my kde and I can see now two folders. like in the screenshot. Yesterday I saw only one. I don't know what happens :)

You can close this bug, if it doesn't help you. Maybe I can reproduce it another time.

i'd like to know how to reproduce it before closing it :)

what's evident is that there are two different folderview widgets in that screenshot. the Air circles aren't in the same place, so it's certainly not the same widget misdrawing.

I'm not sure it the same issue. Now play with my folder again. Change some settings.. resize, move.. and: I click on the resize button and the folder was gone. hmh.. ok I zoom out and zoom in and now I found the folder (see new attachment) I've moved the widget in the middle and you can see it has the smallest possible width?

this is an artifact of having two windows showing, one for the desktop and one for the dashboard. window management confusion ensues. we need a new window role for this.

Works by now, at least for me in 4.7.3 and 4.8b1. Closing.
