Version: 3.5.9 (using 3.5.10, Debian Package 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-2 (squeeze/sid)) Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26-1-amd64 When I open Kview with a long list of file names, and press S to start a slide show, nothing much happens. If, before pressing S, I have viewed a few pictures (with shift-right or by choosing next from the right-click menu), the slideshow will cycle through those images, but still ignore the rest of them. This on KView 3.5.9 (using KDE 3.5.10), deom Debian/Squeeze I see the copyright says 1997-2002, has KViev development stopped? If that is the case, I'll have to find another tool for showing my holiday images...
Kview is no more mantained/developed. This bug wish will not be fixed until a new developer will work on it. Moreover this product is not ported to KDE4. On KDE4 it has been replaced by gwenview. I'm closing this bug as "unmantained". I'm sorry. I suggest you to try KDE 4 :-)
Fair enough. I have found that Kuickshow does a slide show too, almost what I needed. I *am* running KDE 4.2.2, but since I upgraded from an older Debian, it must have left the KView into my system. (and no, as a Debian user, I don't reinstall my machines unless I really have to :-)
