Description CSights 2009-07-04 14:46:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

It would be nice if more URI types such as http, https, man, ftp, ... could be associated with specific programs.

This would allow typing man: in the krunner dialog to open in konqueror and http:// to open in firefox (for example)

This would also help make "Default Applications->Web Browser->open http and https URLs...based on the contents of the URL" more useful.

Thanks for your work!

Doesn't seem like this makes sense with the current state of the desktop today, sorry. :(
