Description Tobias G. Pfeiffer 2009-07-02 20:12:59 UTC
Version: 0.70.90 (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Quitting kopete via Ctrl+Q or File -> Quit doesn't actually terminate the process on 4.3-rc1. The window closes and the symbol disappears from the task bar, but the process stays alive and is shown e.g. by ps.

Unwanted implications:
 * I cannot start kopete again afterwards other than with "killall kopete; kopete".
 * On login, kopete is always started automatically, since the process was still alive when logging out.

I have the same problem with KDE 4.3-rc2
Here is an old (similar, but closed) bug:

I am using
Kopete
Versão 0.70.90
Usando o KDE 4.2.98 (KDE 4.2.98 (KDE 4.3 RC3))
and I have the same problem...

I try to close the Kopete but the process doesn't close... So I can't execute Kopete again until I kill the process.

I believe this one has been fixed, right? I remember this bug, but haven't been able to reproduce it for some months.
