May be also true for 4.3. Recently mysteriously some shortcuts for KMail were reset to defaults - no crash however.
I cannot reproduce (tried gwenview and digikam from trunk) here, using current Qt 4.6 from git master, so it may be a Qt 4.5.x bug. Anne, which Qt version did you use to reproduce the crash?
