Version of the application: 4.3.0 rc1
KDE Version: 4.2.95 (KDE 4.2.95 (KDE 4.3 RC1)) "release 139"
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.27.23-0.1-pae i686
Distribution: "openSUSE 11.1 (i586)"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
After i clicked on the Quit button from Kontact, the application crashed.
Before that i could not quit the Application with the X-Button of the window.

Maybe a duplicate of bug 143187. Did you see a window telling you Kontact was already running ?

No. If such a Window appeared, I quitted Kontact and started it normaly.

Which exact version is this about? Does this still happen with Kmail2? So far I haven't seen any reports for it

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
