Description Michal Hlavinka 2009-07-02 09:47:35 UTC
Version: 4.2.95 (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

the "(using KDE 4.2.90)" is there because bugzilla does not offer 4.3.rc1
version for selection

I use two LCDs. First on left, second on right. In kde 4.3 if panel is placed between the screens (right side of left screen or left side of right screen), it does not crop desktop size -> application window is hidden under panel, when window is maximized. This was working in kde 4.2.5. See screenshot for more details.

seeing as the code in kwin specifically doesn't support that, i don't think so. nor was there a 4.2.5 release.

sorry, last version where it was working was 4.2.4 (but it was working always for me, since I started using second display)

this is screenshot from xorg driver nouveau bug report, when you can see konsole window is maximazed and fits place between two panels. In kde 4.3rc1 it starts just next to left panel, but goes under right panel to the end of left screen.

I don't understand why it worked for you in 4.2.4. Given the old bug report it should not have worked at all
