Thanks for the bug report. Did this crash really occur just when you opened a folder? The backtrace looks like it might be related to bug 185551.

Could you run Dolphin from a Konsole and check if the output before the crash contains 

"Assertion `pos != m_path.size()-1' failed"?

In this case, it's a duplicate of the other bug. Thanks.

I assume it's a duplicate of bug 185551 (which is already fixed in Strigi, released separately from KDE) then. Please reopen this report if you still get this crash when running Dolphin in a Konsole and the error output before the crash does NOT contain

"Assertion `pos != m_path.size()-1' failed"

dolphin (1.5) on KDE Platform 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I was trying to copy multiple files to another folder, but dolphin always crashed before being able to do so.
Closing the information sidebar helped.
