What I was doing when the application crashed:
I have Quasselcore running on a remote server in the same network. When I run Quasselclient, I briefly get a window telling me it's connecting, and then the window disappears and the sytray icon slowly turns from grey to blue. So far so good. Then, when I click it to actually see Quasselclient and use it, it crashes. This also happens if I wait a few minutes before clicking on it; a workaround is to click it just before it is actually connected to the quasselcore, then it stays open, connects fine, and everything works. Then, minimizing to tray and re-opening it works too.
