Version:           0.70.90 (KDE 4.2.95) (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

When I click on an ICQ contact and open details I see the dialog open, just having UIN and IP filled and after that the rest of details is filled.

I seems like it is fetched again and again from the net, instead of remembered in Kopete.

I just cross-tested with offline ICQ: Kopete remembers nothing :/

This is what the ICQ contact has filled about him/herself on ICQ server, you can only change alias .... the rest can only change the ICQ contact.

This is how ICQ info works (if they didn't add some new feature recently)

Sorry, if I was unclear, but I don't want to change it, I just want that kopete remembers the values instead of fetching it again and again.

Maybe allowing the user to supply additional information like birthdate - but that would be a plus.

Why do you want to remember it? We still have to fetch it when user changes the info.

mmh, can't remember exactly what I did have in mind at that time. Sorry to bother...
