What I was doing when the application crashed:
Using Archilinux and kde 4.2.95-1, I was using kmail and I had used ksnapshot to grab a couple of screenshots to send to the radeonhd list. I completed the e-mail and pressed send to deliver it and WHAM plasma crashed, restarted (which restored proper pager fuctionality (see bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=198105)), and then drkonqi appeared.

During the composition in kmail I had also viewed some of the screenshots in gimp 2.6.6-1 which crashed when I attempted to save my last screenshot. (the kmail compose window was still up). I still had the image in ksnapshot, so I just saved it that way to include a link to the screenshot in the e-mail. That's what I did immediately before the crash occurred.  konqueror, control center, kmail and ksnapshot were the only apps open.

Beyond that -- dunno??
