incoming mail finds its way into 

a folder "inbox1" under "local folders".

Eventually i want to move the message from the folder inbox1, click and drag the message to the folder pane.

The folder into which I want to move the message is a subfolder of another folder, which in the current view is collapsed. Hovering over the folder does not expand the folder, which is a behavior I have come to expect from file managers (and previous kmail (kde3.5.x)??) behavior.

Instead I have to cancel the attempt, click the + to expand the folder, then drag the message to the subfolder, now shown because the folder containing it has been expanded.
