Description Reiner Goerlach 2009-06-27 13:17:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

user icon can be definet in control center, but after restarting there is an old icon, or another icon to be seen

works fine here. you should check whether there isn't a user-defined ~/.face.icon which would take precedence according to the "face source" setting. other than that, i know that distributors like to completely replace kdm's avatar configuration system, so it might well be a distribution-specific problem.
please reopen if you have new info which indicates an actual upstream problem.

To make it clearer:
I can select users picture very well, and normal. But the result is, that
there is no resulting change in user's picture, or the result is other
picture than selected.
