kmail crashed during KDE startup:

Eine korrekte Rückverfolgung ist nicht möglich.
Wahrscheinlich sind die Dateien Ihres Systems in einer Weise erstellt worden, die eine solche Rückverfolgung (Backtrace) nicht erlaubt. Oder der so genannte „Stack Frame“ für das Programm wurde durch den Absturz unbrauchbar gemacht.

Please read http://techbase.kde.org/Contribute/Bugsquad/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and try to create a "better" crash report :-)

Maybe this is also related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19389
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-06-27 23:00:34 UTC
@BORGULYA Gábor: if you can reproduce the crash at will, try to install the "kdepim-dbg" and "kdelibs5-dbg" packages and regenerate the trace of the crash to paste it here.
A description (in english) of the problem would also be useful.
Thanks!
Comment 3 BORGULYA Gábor 2009-06-28 00:04:08 UTC
Dear Dario,

I can not reproduce the crash at will.
I have already installed some debug packages as suggested at other bug reports, but I will install these, too.
I report most crashes I encounter, so there is a chance that we will have here more information about this one as well.

The text in German is an automatic one. It basically says that the value of this backtrace is limited. Since I have installed all the languages I speak some of the messages appear in German, Some in French and some in English.

Gabor

Thanks for contributing to KDE. If the crash can't be reproduced at will it wont be easy to fix. (also, may be it is already fixed in the current code).
Now that you have the debug symbols for KMail installed I suggest you that if you experience this crash again you open a new bug report about it.
Thanks :)

Closing the old crash reports which don't have a useful backtrace. Thanks.
