Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 4.2.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs The mp4 files are big (>850MB) and Dolphin crashes only when the Information pane is opened. I tried to move the files to my home directory (it was on an NFS share) and it didn't help.
Thanks for the report, this is most probably a Strigi issue. Could you please check which Strigi version you are using by strigidaemon --version (in KDE 4.3 this freeze cannot happen anymore, as Nepomuk is used instead of Strigi) Thanks!
Hey, doesn't crash for me! it eats all my RAM indefinitely. dolphin 1.2.1 kde 4.2.4 strigidaemon 0.6.4 qt 4.5.2 opensuse 11.1 x86_64 (2GB RAM) I have to do "ctrl+esc" and kill the process...
