Installed from: Compiled sources

Many HTML forms have single-line text edit fields. When you type "Return" in those while the form is active, it is sended. For obvious reasons, this does not work in a multi-line text edit field.

When I today was writing a comment in such a field and tried to post the comment through Ctrl-Return (the shortcut for "Send mail" in KMail), it struck me that this shortcut should become meaningful in KHTML as a standard "Send current form" shortcut.

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
