Description Dennis Schridde 2009-06-21 12:56:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.3 Gentoo 4.3.3-r2 p1.2, pie-10.1.5
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I created a calendar and a contacts folder using KMail, and set the folder types accordingly. Then I pushed about 300 contacts and calendar entries onto my IMAP server from another location, and let KMail syncronise.
Akonadi started spamming me with error messages (of the type mentioned in bug #197361). Hundreds of them (~300?)...
To prevent such issues, maybe it is a good idea to use the notification infrastructure, or something similar.

The issue in the very form mentioned here does not seem to occur anymore.
A very similar issue appears when restarting current akonadi: bug #222595.
