Description Stefan Kebekus 2009-06-21 10:07:15 UTC
Version: 1.11.4 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4) "release 2", KDE:42 / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.23-0.1-default

I use kmail for my work. I have installations of kmail at my workplace, on my business laptop and on a computer of a department that I am frequently visiting. While using the "disconnected IMAP" feature to sychronize the mailboxes works great for me, I have the problem that I need to manually synchronize the kmail settings. For instance, when my office phone number changes, I need to go to every single installation and edit the "signature" field in the identity dialog.

It would save me a lot of work if there was a mechanism that could synchronize the settings between several installations of kmail. If a full-blown synchronization mechanism seems too complicated, even a simple "export/import settings" feature would be of great help.

Thank you for your great work!

Stefan Kebekus.
