Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

Sometimes kopete interprets text as an emoticon when that was not the intended purpose of the character sequence.  Some chat clients allow the user to click the emoticon to turn it back into text so that the underlying symbols can be seen... kopete should have this feature as well.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
