Description m.wege 2009-06-18 10:53:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I would like the possibility to turn of the notifications for the following events:
- opening a link from kmail (and may be other applications) in Konqueror.
- opening a file (pdf,...) in an application from kmail (and may be other apps)
At the moment it seems like these operations are treated as copying operations. While that in fact may be the case, the notifcation is not really necessary. I will receive the feedback by Konqueror or Okular which has opened the file /webpage. So the notification is steeling my attention.

This seems fixed in KDE SC 4.6.1. Reopen the bug if you still face this problem.
