Description kavol 2009-06-17 13:30:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

A hyperlink (i.e. html <a> element) cannot be clicked nor its target address copied etc. - it seems like it is not properly recognised, but still it has the text color set for a link, which changes after visiting the target site.

The issue appears in top-right box at the site http://dorka.slezskyhradek.cz/ with the link text "Montym".

Note that the behaviour may be observed also using Konqueror 3.5.4.

yes, Konqueror 20.08.3 with KHTML still reproduces the issue

with WebEngine it displays empty page which I don't understand, the document is valid and I do not see anything suspect in the source ...

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
