Hi,

DigiKam does not remember the coordinates you have given the last photo. So, you have to move there again with does take some time in the google.maps window. This is very annoying if you want to give a lot of photos similar coordinates.

This google.maps window may also have some enhancements:
- save the last view mode: map view, satellite view, hybrid and so on
- very often I could only use the map view. If I use satellite I get the error that it is not available and I should zoom out
- it also takes some time before the maps is even displayed. Maybe one could one some kind of browser cache for this. It should not use that much memory.

TIA

Isn't this the same as bug 182326? In that case, it should be implemented but isn't working.

The error message about satellite images being unavailable looks to me like a Google message that it doesn't have the imagery available at that detail. So that's not fixable.

Michael,

This is implemented in 2.0.0 ?

From Michael by private mail :

#Most of it was already implemented in 1.2, but I probably missed this report ;-)
