Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources After opening KRunner several times, it suddenly shows up with the wrong window height (too slim) which happens every time from there on. I fixed this temporarily by quitting krunner, deleting the krunnerrc and launching krunner again. Afterwards, it shows up with the correct default size but not for long: After some time, it suddenly shows up with the wrong window height again. See both attached screenshots for the right default height and the wrong height. Found on openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.2.91

I suspect that this bug is related to switching compositing on/off. Could you please confirm if this is the case? Can you reproduce if you don't change your compositing settings / switch to other power profiles? Thanks
Yeah, I can confirm that this issue seems related to toggeling compositing. When I turn compositing on and off via Hotkey [ALT]+[SHIFT]+[F12], KRunner has a screwed up height afterwards.

This is strictly speaking a plasma issue; the theme is not updated when compositing is toggled, and this causes some issues with the air theme; This is most probably related to bug 179042, if this bug is not fixed when 179042 is fixed, please reopen. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 179042 ***
I marked this as a duplicate of 179042, but I was wrong. Reopening. I have tracked down the issue and I have an almost-solution, stay tuned
