Description mbc111 2009-06-17 04:06:26 UTC
Version: 2.0.5 (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I open kmld., I get a "connection to core refused, are you sure its running?" notification. MLnet can be started manually and then kmld can connect to it. However this is pretty inconvenient and new users would find it hard to figure out how to get kmldonkey working. I've experienced this problem with several versions of kmld on several distros. This bug is in reference to to kmld 2.0.5 on Jaunty.

P.S.
Also - this is more of a question - i noticed that in the context menu there's no "connect to server" option and that the "toggle preferred" option is always disabled. Why is this?

thanks
