Description Mirza 2009-06-16 16:03:23 UTC
Version: 0.8.80 (using 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-13-generic

Okular has an option called: Trim Margins in the View menu.
This option on some pdf files cuts part of paper that has picture on it.

Here are some screenshots:

This doesn't happend only on one page of one pdf but across many.

File that causes Okular to cut pictures

This is one example where Okular cuts pictures when the 'Trim Margins' option is enabled.

i'm pretty sure i'm seeing the same thing. if you grab any of the MBTA bus maps, the left/right part of the pages get trimmed.

for example, the map here:
http://www.mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/bus/routes/?route=34E
http://www.mbta.com/uploadedFiles/Documents/Schedules_and_Maps/Bus/03434Emap.pdf

disabling trim margins allows the entire thing to be viewed in the main pane.

screen shot of Okular-0.9.1 with KDE-4.3.1 on Gentoo/x86_64. disabling "Trim Margins" in the "View" menu allows the entire page to be viewed in the main pane.
