Version:            (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

1. fire up dolphin
2. split the view
3. open a new tab
4. switch between the tabs back and forth

sooner or later you'll see the result in the screenshot.

You can see, that the inactive tab isn't darker and that the close icon has a red line while the close icon of the active tab isn't visible at all.

Thanks for the bug report, I could reproduce this in trunk. This might be a KTabBar or a Qt issue. It's strange though that it only happens when one of the tabs contains a split view...

It seems that I can't reproduce this any more in trunk (989758) after upgrading from Qt 4.5.1 to Qt 4.5.2. I'll close this report - please reopen if you can reproduce it with Qt 4.5.2 (or later) and KDE 4.3 RC (or later). Thanks!

Maybe this is fixed by the same Qt commit that caused bug 198075...
