Version: 2.1 (using 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-11-generic When listening to radio stations eg. mms://wmscr1.dr.dk/e02ch01m it often takes a long time before it actually starts playing. First there is no feedback, then the OSD and then a long pause before it starts playing. It would be nice with some more visual feedback either in the OSD or the statusbar just saying "Buffering" and maybe a spinning wheel or something ;-) I have often killed Amarok because I thought it had frozen.
This is now better in 2.2.1. The OSD starts immediately but when it disappears the statusbar just says "Playing stream XXX" although it hasn't started playing yet.

Is buffering still that slow? I haven't seen that happen here lately, but I also don't use many other radio streams than a few from the cool streams...

Normally it's very fast, but for slower connections or streams I still think it would be a good idea to have some kind of visual feedback.
Thank you for the fast feedback.
