Version: (using KDE 4.2.4) Compiler: not used (kfind installed automatically with kubuntu when OS was installed) not used (kfind program that came with CD iso image when installed to hard drive on Laptop) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages First off, this is my first report like this and I am a new Linux user. I have been a user for about 6 months or so. Please forgive my Noobness explanation. I just used "kfind" to find where I put some wallpaper .jpg images. Downloaded by using automatic install routine that is used for changing the wallpaper in Kubuntu latest download I got on about 6-02-2009. I did not use the "add/remove software" but the other way. Afterwards, I highlighted all 10 or 12 of them using the "shift" key (click at top then held down "shift key" and proceeded to copy them to a Kingston Usb flash drive" The copy worked and about 15 seconds later (after last file was copied) it crashed and gave me the printout that I am sending to you below. Here is crash report that went with it (i saved it). Thanks for the report and the detailed explanation. I fixed this recently in KDE4.3 code which will be available in some time. The fix changed too much code so I could not port it to KDE4.2. Thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 169941 ***
