Version: 0.10 (using KDE 4.2.4) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs When importing JPG photos into digikam that are in a different color space than the default workspace digikam image editor offers two option in colormangement setup: 1. convert the image 2. ask what should be done In both cases the photo is modified and has to saved confrontig the user with a save file dialog. So even when the user just wants to look at some photos he got from someone else he cannot browse through these photos without manually saving each photo allthough he did not want to modify the photo in any way. I think a better solution is to convert the colorspace of the photo on the fly so the display is correct but without any need to save the converted photo and without any dialog asking for a conversion. This allows the user to browse through hist photos and delays a save operation until it is really needed. So Only after he processes his photo in any way so it has to saved anyway this should be done or asked for but not if he just looks at his photo. Thanks Rainer
