Description Karl Ferdinand Ebert 2009-06-14 13:33:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I ran powertop on two different machines (pc and thinkpad) and found kopete consuming more than 100 ticks per interval. Compared to pidgin (10-30) this is much to high.
I would appreciate a less noisy version of kopete on cpu time.

Thanks in advance,

Ferdinand

Should be fixed in KDE 4.3. (2 ticks/s)
Comment 2 Karl Ferdinand Ebert 2009-07-16 15:40:32 UTC
Hi, I reopen this bug as for version 4.2.96 (kde4.3rc2) on Debian kopete (again)
has more than 100 ticks per time interval. I provide additional information if needed.
