Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages In KDE 3 there was a wizard for choosing shortcuts style and many other settings when an user starts kde for the first time. I've heard many people complaining about kde 4 being to much different from gnome, and from kde 3. That's true but they can have a "traditional" desktop just changing some preferences. Often they are so confused for the many features so they leave kde before finding what they want. A simple wizard would solve the problem providing two different sets of default options: 1) A classic-one witch has classical desktop, classic launch menu, maybe a gray style for plasma panel, etc. 2) The kde 4 one shipping what actually is the default. Less important would be shipping also a third option to have two panels and a gnome-like aspect.
