Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

This happens in the field in the screenshot, but happens too when i right click and edit the name

i dont have this probleme anywhere else in KDE, but i have it very often in my laptop with french local language, when i type greek in the opera web browser !

May be my report is invalid as today i am able to put the accents in this field.! i dont understand. Without update or any change

I think this may be related to bug 174283 (which appears fixed in Qt 4.5.1).  Do you experience the problems with kwrite experienced in that bug?

yes is the same bug with the 174283
i dont have the problem with other applications in kde, in kwrite and kate i am able to put the accents too. But i ve seen other users with other distributions that they have problem with the accents in the whole KDE.

Thanks for the answere, i mark the report as fixed as is fixed in qt 4.5.1
