Description Andreas Pietzowski 2009-06-11 18:44:36 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-11-generic

Since 4.3 beta 2 the mouse cursor doesn't disapear automatically when you play a movie in fullscreen mode. It would be nice to see this fixes in the final. Should be a easy one and is a showstopper ;)

Does it happen to all files? I've tried it here (trunk) and the cursor was automatically hidden after a certain period.

Closing as WORKSFORME. Please reopen if you still experience the issue.
Comment 3 Andreas Pietzowski 2009-08-20 22:58:27 UTC
I use KDE 4.3.0 from Ubuntu and I also removed the (maybe deprecated) dragon-config file but the mouse cursor doesn't hide in fullscreen mode. It sure does hide when you have a normal window. I also use Twinview and I dodn't test it on single screen fullscreen.

Would be nice to see this fixed ;)

Comment 6 Ryan J Redding 2009-09-11 21:57:50 UTC
Update: The cursor is hidden for dvd playback but not for local file playback. Tested with 2 dvds and multiple local files (flac,mp4,avi,mpeg).

I can confirm..
Comment 8 Martin Sandsmark 2009-11-29 03:36:42 UTC
Should be fixed in commit 1055915. Should be released with KDE Multimedia 4.4.
