Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Whenever I try to move a file to the trash using Dolphin file manager, a "Moving" window appears that has the Source and Destination (trash:/). That window does not go away; it stays at 0 B/s and never progresses. I can drag files to any folder except to the Trash (trash:/). I can move files to the trash using the mv command in the terminal and even drag files to the "/home/username/.local/share/Trash/files/" directory using Dolphin. I can move files to the trash using Thunar file manager without problems. In Thunar, when I press DEL, the file goes to the trash. In Dolphin, when I press DEL or right click and select "Move to Trash", the files stays put. Also, when I right click inside the Trash (trash:/) window in the white area, "The KDE Crash Handler" window appears. However, I'll fill out an application crash report for this problem.
The last issue is a crash. If you can reproduce that crash at will, may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace in a new crash bug report? Thanks

If you clicked "Properties" in the context menu that pops up on right-click, you don't have to file a new report - this issue is known and fixed already (bug 185551).
I forgot to write that moving files to the trash works fine for me in KDE 4.2.4 (Kubuntu) and trunk. Could you upgrade to 4.2.4 and check if the problem persists? Thanks!

Yes, it happens when I click "Properties" in the context menu that pops up on right-click. It doesn't happen when I just right-click. I did not explain correctly in the bug Description. Also, another correction: I am using KDE 4.2.2, not KDE 4.2.0.
Merging with bug 185551. Thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 185551 ***
