Description Piotr Mitas 2009-06-10 17:02:28 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-gentoo-r5

I noticed, that one album in my collection has incorrectly tagged files. So I fired up picard to fix the tags, wondering if Amarok would spot the changes by itself (like Amarok 1.4), but it didn't. So I hit the update collection in the menu. Amarok added the new files to the collection, but it didn't remove the old ones (some were renamed by picard). So now I have an album that consists of normal working entries, and the old entries pointing to nonexisting files. Updating the collection or restarting Amarok doesn't help.

(By the way, why does Amarok load the entries to the playlist in different order than they are shown in the collection browser?)

Then I hit 'rescan collection' in the settings. It came up with this:

http://imagebin.ca/view/hBL5fy.html

that is, two EMPTY albums with the same name. (Before that there were two albums: "Liquid Tension Experiment 1" and "Liquid Tension Experiment 2")

Then I restarted Amarok, and got this:

Rescanning the collection once more doesn't change anything, nor does restarting amarok.
