Version: 2.1 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4), Gentoo) Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-gentoo-r5 I noticed, that one album in my collection has incorrectly tagged files. So I fired up picard to fix the tags, wondering if Amarok would spot the changes by itself (like Amarok 1.4), but it didn't. So I hit the update collection in the menu. Amarok added the new files to the collection, but it didn't remove the old ones (some were renamed by picard). So now I have an album that consists of normal working entries, and the old entries pointing to nonexisting files. Updating the collection or restarting Amarok doesn't help. http://imagebin.ca/view/AYU5UExB.html http://imagebin.ca/view/YTQPl64A.html (By the way, why does Amarok load the entries to the playlist in different order than they are shown in the collection browser?) Then I hit 'rescan collection' in the settings. It came up with this: http://imagebin.ca/view/hBL5fy.html that is, two EMPTY albums with the same name. (Before that there were two albums: "Liquid Tension Experiment 1" and "Liquid Tension Experiment 2") Then I restarted Amarok, and got this: http://imagebin.ca/view/FeWDIoB.html - One album with files from both albums.... Rescanning the collection once more doesn't change anything, nor does restarting amarok.
