In KDE 3.5, when you went to file properties for various multimedia (images, movies, etc), there was a metadata tab, with additional format-specific information (frame rate, resolution, etc). iirc, this information also appeared in the mouse-over tooltip.

This feature appears to be missing in KDE 4.2's Konqueror. Please re-add it sometime.
