Description Ian Hubbertz 2009-06-07 01:30:56 UTC
Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE 4.2.4)
Compiler: gcc-Version 4.3.3 (Gentoo 4.3.3-r2 p1.1, pie-10.1.5)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

marble is very slow, if a large track (in my case GPX format) is loaded, although only a small part of the track is displayed.

(I'm unsure if this is more a wish than a bug, so you may want to change the category).

Can you please provide an example GPX file so that this issue can be tested?

Hello. can you reproduce this problem with KDE 4.3 RC3 Ian? Thanks.

The gpx file handling has been merged in the common geodata classes.
It seems there are less performance issues this way (and for sure far less memory leaks).

Feel free to reopen and maybe provide figures so we can measure progress.
