Description tony 2009-06-05 14:49:30 UTC
Version: 0.10.0 (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I'm using the raw import tool to import raw image files.
I select my first raw file, tweak the import settings and then click "Import". Everything works fine. However, when I select another raw file and do the same, instead of an image appearing for me to manipulate, the centre pane just goes blank after the progress bar has finished moving.

Closing the editor window and clicking on the thumbnail of the second image clears the problem and allows it to display correctly, so I assume this is resetting something that's causing the problem. Interestingly, after doing this, the picture appears immediately after clicking the button, so presumably it must already be imported and ready to display.

This is due to a race condition in editor fixed in current implemention from svn.

Marcel, Andi,

Do you remember something like that ?

Anyway, for me, this problem disappear since a moment. I use Raw Import tool everyday without any problem.

New digiKam 4.11.0 is available :

https://www.digikam.org/node/740

Can you reproduce the problem with this release ?

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.
I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary.
